People going on holiday to Greece have been encouraged to be polite and respectful while abroad.
Writing for Helium, S E recently gave his top tips to travellers how to get around while on vacation.
He explained how making the effort to be attentive and appreciative of the locals and the customs of another country can make a trip more enjoyable.
Aside from this it can work in a person's favour as they may find residents invite them to experience aspects of the culture tourists may never normally get to witness.
"Go out of your way to show the people you meet, or even just see, that you find their country to be a beautiful and wonderful place," Mr Jones advised.
The writer also recommended people be open-minded and refrain from voicing critical opinions of foreign traditions.
Elsewhere, recent research by price comparison site Skyscanner found that the Greek island of Corfu was among the top 50 most popular holiday destinations among vacationers this summer.
