Culinary enthusiasts heading on a holiday in Mykonos can expect to be blown away by the array of locally grown and prepared produce, it has been claimed.
In an interview with the Telegraph, actress Laura Gray tells of her "delicious experience" in Mykonos.
"I'm a foodie, and love to try the locally grown and prepared produce," she said.
"Food in Mykonos is divine and every day I had Greek salad with yoghurt, garlic and cucumber. It was heaven."
Ms Gray also states that weather is an important factor when choosing a holiday, and that Mykonos did not disappoint in this regard.
"The weather was perfect, as were the blue skies and sea against the whitewashed buildings," she added.
Researchers in Spain have claimed that in a study of 10,094 healthy men and women, those who followed a Mediterranean diet had a 30 per cent reduction in the risk of depression, reports the Northern Territory News.
