A British couple have told how they enjoyed holidaying in Greece so much they decided to leave their home country behind and live there.
In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, expatriates James Collins and his partner Neil Gosling described how the Greek way of life convinced them to quit their jobs and emigrate.
They explained how their Greek neighbours have been very welcoming and they truly are living the dream.
"It's very hard to say what it is … that made us want to live here," Mr Collins said adding: "It's a mixture of the people, the landscape and the slow and steady life."
Back in 2000, the pair packed their bags and headed for the country with the intention of trying to live among the locals for 12 months and ten years later they are still there.
Fashion designer Matthew Williamson recently told the paper that he and a group of friends holiday in Greece every summer.
