Santorini beaches 'best in Greece'

In case holidaymakers needed another reason to go to Santorini, one magazine has claimed it has the most outstanding beaches in the Greek islands.
The Vancouver Sun did a feature on the five top seaside spots and one it said had a well deserved reputation is the Red Beach.
"Set against a backdrop of red volcanic rock cliffs, it's no wonder that breath-taking Red Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Santorini," writer Benita Baker explained.
For one location that provides entertainment along with top-quality sunbathing, Kamari Beach is where tourists can watch daring cliff divers plunge off the rocks - or try it themselves.
Ms Baker commented that the black lava sanded Perissa Beach had water that was so clear and tranquil "it's hard to believe that it is an ocean".
Santorini was recently praised by model Dipannita Sharma, who said the island was "out of this world" due to its natural beauty.
