'Insane' to miss a Santorini holiday

A visitor to Greece recently summed up some of his trip's highlights and said readers were "insane" if they did not take a holiday to Santorini.
Andrew Manis wrote for the Macon telegraph about his experience as a foreign student and advised people to save up their euros for a trip there.
He called it "the most magnificent" island - but added there is "absolutely unbelievably beautiful landscape" throughout the whole of the country. People off to Santorini on holiday might also want to take in the villages of Fira and Imerovigli.
Those thinking of visiting Thessaloniki might also be encouraged by Mr Manis' review.
He said this area had some of the best sightseeing opportunities in the whole of Greece and people off there should not miss the White Tower and waterfront.
In addition, Crete holiday makers could take a trip to Karpathos, which he said was a small island he almost missed but was glad to have seen.
