Crete 'good enough to return to'

Many well-travelled tourists may have a rule of never visiting the same holiday destination two times - but one writer has said she broke that guideline for the Greek island of Crete and explains why.
Lisa Bailey wrote in the Shropshire Star that when it came to choosing somewhere to go with her husband and children, the general consensus was to go back to Crete because they had had such a great time the year before.
She noted it was good because the island had many activities for her active family, such as water sports and other beach activities, but also had relaxation options for her.
Ms Bailey described feeling happy as she received a Tibetan massage and lounged around all afternoon.
"[My son] Daniel summed it up when I said to him on holiday: 'Isn't this fantastic, Daniel' and he replied: 'No mummy, it's not fantastic - it's amazing'."
One person who may agree with Ms Bailey that Crete is worth going back for is Irish actor Ciabhan O Murchu, who recently told the Irish Herald that his time in Crete was his "best holiday ever".
