People considering where to go on vacation may wish to consider a Greek island holiday after one travel commentator described the spectacular beauty of the country.
Writing for the Herald.ie, Niamh Hopkins spoke of her trip to Greece as providing delightful surroundings and a relaxing ambience.
She described having "an amazing time" and recounted the fantastic scenery and incredible cuisine.
Ms Hopkins said: "I would definitely go back to Greece. Certain islands were the most beautiful places I've ever visited and I would highly recommend it."
She explained how during her two-week break she enjoyed the simple calming days spent basking in the sun around the pool and the balmy evenings.
Writing for the Hellenic News of America, Markos Papadatos recently commented that Kefalonia is breathtakingly beautiful and the best of the seven islands in the Ionian Sea.
He noted that the isle's famous sunsets and sandy beaches make it the ideal place for a summer break.
