The islands of Greece should be on everyone's list of the top destinations to visit, according to one travel commentator.
Writing for Suite 101, Anna Wilson described the country's "delicacies" and "stunning" views as just some of the reasons why people should consider a holiday in Greece.
She explained that island hopping can offer vacationers a chance to experience a variety of beaches and "breathtaking" views.
"Regardless of traveller status, be it avid or occasional, the Cycladic Greek islands should be on anyone's radar as a must see," Ms Wilson remarked.
Holidaymakers are advised to head to the country either before or after the high season in order to avoid the soaring temperatures and get better deals.
The travel enthusiast recounted how celebrities like actress Jennifer Aniston and US rock band Green Day have visited the Aegean isles.
Activities to entertain all the family, such as an array of water sports are available in the country, an article in the Daily Mirror recently noted.
