Mykonos 'still bears influence of Jackie O'

The charismatic first lady of the US, Jackie Kennedy Onassis, is still an intriguing historical figure - and those fascinated by her personage may find an extra reason to visit the Greek island of Mykonos in this article.
In US publication Home & Away, columnist Bonnie Gill wrote of her experiences travelling in the Cyclades and noted the late widow has left an indelible mark on the holiday destination she used to frequent.
There is at least one establishment on the island that exists as a tribute to the muse, called the Jackie O.
Ms Gill peeked in and if her description is anything to go by, the place is as strikingly stylish as the famous fashionista herself.
"Jackie O's [is] decked out with elegant white tables and chairs, a beautiful white marble-looking bar and gold candelabras. Looks like Jackie made her mark in Mykonos," she commented.
The star was well known on the island because she spent quite a lot of time on her second husband's private island of Scorpios, just a short boat ride away from the holiday destination.
