Greek island sailing trips comedian's favourite holiday

Sailing trips around the Greek islands have been revealed to be the preferred holiday of a comedian and writer.
Dave Spikey, former Phoenix Nights co-star and host for Jimmy Carr's 8 out of 10 Cats, told the Highland News that a trip to the sunny location years ago inspired his new favoured hobby.
After enjoying a short course while in the holiday destination, he undertook further classes at the Royal Yachting Association in Bolton so he could get better.
"Now for our family holidays, we get a yacht and sail around the Greek islands," he explained.
Those tempted by a similar getaway may want to consider renting a private boat on Paxos and exploring the location from one of the three natural harbours of Gaios, Loggos and Lakka.
It could be a good way to enjoy privileged sights along with a bit of solitude. People who enjoy an element of adventure in their holidays may also appreciate the independent aspect.
