Holidays in Mykonos 'proving popular'

Travellers flicking through guidebooks wondering where to go on Greek island summer holidays might like to book flights to Mykonos as new research has revealed that the isle is attractive to both native and foreign visitors alike.
Conducted by the MTC Group, alongside the Polytechnic of Crete, the study found that jet-setters from other climes have a satisfaction indicator result of 88 per cent, while Greek citizens follow this with 83.5 per cent, the Athens News Agency reports.
The publication noted that guests to the region vary in terms of nationality and age, while 14 per cent choose to travel as a family.
In addition, vacationers from abroad are more interested in Mykonos's climate and natural beauty, but Greek nationals appear to be more taken with the recreation and entertainment on offer.
One man seemingly in love with Mykonos is Matthew Williamson, who told the Daily Telegraph that he goes there every year in August to enjoy some time off work.
