Lesvos hosts International Women's Festival

People planning holidays in Greece may enjoy booking flights to Lesvos to coincide with the two-week International Women's Festival.
This year sees the event celebrate its 10th anniversary and aims to promote female-led activities through dance, music, film, art, education and literature.
And those who attend the affair will find themselves entertained by concerts, women-only excursions, theatre, open mic nights, workshops, cruises, DJ sets, meditation and the chance to experiment with alternative therapies.
"The activities of the festival celebrate the diversity, literacy, philosophy and social justice from female participants and visitors from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences," the organisers remarked.
In addition, time is also made for enjoying the delights that the island has to offer, such as sunbathing, swimming, sampling local food and exploring the countryside.
What's more, Greek holidays could take years off those who go on them, as the Telegraph-Journal recently noted that the country boasts production of some of the world's best anti-ageing foods, like olive oil, beans, fruit and vegetables.
