Mykonos celebrated in photo blog

A Spanish travel blog has celebrated the Greek island of Mykonos.
Diario de un Turista featured an "impressive" photo of the holiday destination's famous windmills taken from the sea.
"The serenity of the coast's blue landscapes and white windmills is juxtaposed with the brute force of the sea beating against it," the editor described.
It has been speculated that the windmills of Mykonos are among the most photographed features of the Cyclades islands.
They have a contender in the Church of Panagia Paraportiani - the most popular of the 400 places of worship on this holiday destination.
Visiting this site is a must, according to a Virtual Tourist member Jeannette.
She said: "What makes this church so unique is its construction, which is an asymmetrical conglomeration of four churches into one."
It is also famous for being a mix of Byzantine, traditional and modern architecture.
This church is located in the Kastro district - in Mykonos's old town.
