Yoga courses or alternative massage therapies could be an interesting way to balance out the sun and sand experience while on the Greek island holiday destination of Alonissos.
One centre, Kali Thea offers one and two week-long courses for holidaymakers and founders Lee and Bibi Hamblin believe the experience could be rewarding for those enjoying a sunny sojourn.
As their studios and therapy rooms boast views on the sea and distant islets, it could be the perfect backdrop to a new experience.
In addition to yoga, they offer Swedish, Thai, Indian and hot stones massages as well as reflexology.
Travel reviewers Alexia Amvrazi and Adrian Vrettos recommended this studio in their Greek travel blog, praising the founders as being "charismatic" and welcoming.
"We tried the Thai and Swedish massages, which had profound energising and relaxing effects respectively and enjoyed speaking with them about their new life adventure on the island," they wrote.
