Wines of Santorini 'not to be missed'

Wine-lovers planning a holiday in the Greek islands may want to consider Santorini after hearing one specialist's recommendations.
Financial Times journalist Feargus O'Sullivan sang the praises of several bottles from this destination.
Among the "delicious" Vin Santos, visitors should aim to try the Sigalas Vin Santo 2003.
"Its mix of figs, quince and honey is kept racy by a sharp lemon-peel kick," he explained.
Another winner in the island collection is the 2008 Boutaris Santorini Assyrtiko.
Mr O'Sullivan noted this wine was "dripping with melon and lemon and blessed with some interesting mineral notes sucked up from the pumice-rich soil".
This was one of several grapes the writer said benefitted from the destination's volcanic geology.
He went on to recommend tasting the latter with chargrilled squid.
Assyrtiko has garnered praise in the past, notably from Denver Post connoisseur Tara Q Thomas.
She said this wine was "as remarkable as the landscape".
