Cruising around the Mediterranean while on holiday in Greece could be an ideal pastime for those on vacation in the country after one writer described the ideal conditions.
Robin Ross-Thompson wrote in an article for the Daily Dispatch about his recent experiences while visiting the Aegean and Ionian islands.
The sea was noted as being "crystal clear" and turquoise in colour, as well as fairly calm.
He described the warm temperatures and lack of rainfall as "ideal" for sailing around the Greek isles and exploring the area by boat.
Mr Ross-Thompson described how he spent time snorkelling off the coastline and discovering the various marine life living close the shore.
Commenting on his time spent in the country he stated: "We thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience."
Elsewhere, GMTV's money saving expert Martin Lewis recently advised people to book either a week or 14-day holiday in order to get a cheap deal on a last minute bargain break.
