Sun worshippers enjoying holidays in Mykonos may feel their trip is incomplete without a visit to Psarou Beach.
One of the Greek island's most famed beaches, it is prized for its immense beauty and kept to the highest standards by the local authorities.
Psarou Beach is also famous as one of the favoured haunts for celebrities staying in Mykonos, as well as countless holidaymakers from the rest of Greece and overseas.
With such a widespread appeal, the coastal strip next to the sea, which is located just a short drive from the capital, Mykonos Town, and attracts an interesting assortment of people.
It is also a great destination for fans of watersports, with plenty of activities on offer, including scuba diving and windsurfing.
There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, providing the perfect way for holidaymakers to finish a day of sun, sea and sand.
Mykonos has a strong allure among holidaymakers, promising as it does a simpler way of life.
In an interview with Scotland on Sunday, fashion designer Ben De Lisi recently told of his wish to live in a beach house on the island and enjoy a more relaxed pace of life.
