Horse-riding could be a thrilling and enjoyable activity to try while visiting the Greek island of Skiathos.
Situated in Koukounaries, the riding school was recommended as a must on the Virtual Tourist forum by a contributor writing under the pseudonym Jannice48.
The writer said that not only did they cater to all skill levels, the horses were clearly very well taken care of.
"It offers excursions from one hour taking you through Mandraki woods and a lovely coastal view to an hour and a half with view over Koukounaries, Asselinos and Trolous taking you through the highest mountain roads," she advised.
The traveller went on to note that staff was very friendly and that the children adored horse-riding during their trip.
Kids may also love this place because the owners run a farm with 20 goats, a garden and a "mini farm zoo".
