Tourists contemplating things to do in Zante while on holiday may enjoy heading to the Sigouros Pottery shop in the area, as one travel writer has said the creations in the store are somewhat abstract and inspired by the Greek countryside.
Heather Cowper of Tips from the T-List noted that ceramics fans can also observe the making of these pots by heading to the Machairado workshop, a trip that can also be coincided with a stop off at the Oenolpi Winery for a tasting session.
Of the earthenware, she remarked: "You'll see the blue fish, the olives that grow everywhere and the lemons and pomegranates, which most self-respecting Zakynthians have growing in their back garden."
Ms Cowper recently wrote about wine tasting in Zante on her blog Heather on her Travels, calling the produce that can be found at the establishment "extremely drinkable and fresh".
Olive trees and Korinthian grapes - which are used to make raisins - are also in evidence on the premises.
