A traveller has recommended that those going to Zante make sure they are able to get the best vantage point for an evening spectacle.
Writing under the pseudonym Kat M, a Virtual Tourist contributor suggested that Keri, on the south-west side of the island, had great places to watch the sunset.
She said that the village was "lovely" because it was very traditional and quaint.
They decided to choose a taverna with a terrace and she commented: "On the terrace is a view point with the most terrific view of the sea and rocks below."
Kat M said the taverna also served excellent food and the staff was friendly.
The town of Keri is some 20 kilometres from the capital and is known for being one of the villages that was most able to retain its original architecture after the 1953 earthquake.
Five kilometres downhill from Keri is Limni Keri, which is said to be a charming seafront harbour with welcoming beaches.
