'Learn the language' before a holiday in Greece

People in Loughborough who are planning a holiday in Greece may be interested to hear a new language centre has opened in the area.
Leicestershire County Council's Adult Learning Service is offering individuals the chance to sign up and expand their communication repertoire, Loughborough News reports.
Those interested to learn Greek to some level before they head of on a vacation could join others on the 15-week beginner's course and may have a basic grasp of the country's mother tongue before they visit.
Ivan Ould, Leicestershire County Council's cabinet member for the children and young people's service, said: "Now is the time for everyone to treat themselves with a new academic year resolution, learning something new whether it's for work, personal development or for fun."
In a recent article for Suite 101, Lynne Evans encouraged travellers to try communicating with the locals in Greece in their own language while visiting the country's islands.
