'More couples' could be enjoying Greece holidays

There may be more couples enjoying quiet Greek holidays if the following comments are anything to go by.
Analyst Tom Rees from Mintel explained it is easier for partners without children to organise getaways.
He made this comment in relation to research by the company that revealed 40 per cent of vacations are taken by couples, compared to 37 per cent by families.
One reason behind the figures, Mr Rees noted, could be down to the fact that those who do not have any offspring are not tied to the summer break to take their trip abroad.
Low cost airlines have also made it easier and more affordable for people to travel in general, he added.
"[Couples] have the freedom to go away - which they have always had - but now they have the means and opportunity to go on holiday," Mr Rees said.
Loved-up pairs might like to rent a Greek island villa on Andros to enjoy a romantic break any time of the year.
The location offers 60 miles of coastline, cultural highlights and traditional villages.
