Appreciate the simple life during holidays in Mykonos

People on holidays in Mykonos have the chance to experience the relaxed and simple way of life in the Greek islands.
In an interview with Scotland on Sunday, fashion designer Ben De Lisi tells of his desire to live in a beach house in Mykonos and simply appreciate the laid-back lifestyle.
When asked by the newspaper what would improve his life, Mr De Lisi said: "A beautiful beach house, either in the Caribbean or Mykonos in Greece, with lots of stone and clay, and easels and canvasses to paint things on," he said.
"I'd be in bare feet and shorts, I'd have my dogs and someone to love and I could paint for the rest of my days."
Meanwhile, Vesna Maric writes in the Guardian of a recent trip to Greece with her partner, where they simply enjoyed lying on the beach in the Mediterranean sun away from the crowds.
Staying until the sun set, the perfect setting was characterised by dramatic burgundy cliffs, "the fizzing of crickets and the scent of thyme".
