People searching for the ultimate honeymoon destination have been advised to look no further than holidays in Mykonos .
The Daily Mail has rated the popular Greek island as one of the best places to head for a romantic honeymoon, due to its famous beaches and idyllic villages.
Newlyweds can laze away the summer days lying on the white sands, indulge in retail therapy around the old harbour or feast on famed Mediterranean cuisine, the news provider states.
"Take a private guide and boat trip to see the ruins of the sacred island of Delos, birthplace of Artemis and Apollo. Divine," it adds.
Mykonos also features in the book titled 1000 Places to See Before You Die, a renowned source that presents the best the world has to offer.
According to the publication, Mykonos boasts "picture-postcard" villages, narrow streets, white-washed houses and beautiful beaches.
