Glyfa Beach Studio is located slightly back from Glyfa Beach which is connected to the picturesque fishing village of Steni Vala, accessed via a beach road. Steni Vala is a very protected cove with clear, turquoise blue waters surrounded by pine and olive grove covered hillsides. This sheltered harbour is regularly used by passing sail boats and fishermen selling their catch.
The studio is on the lower level underneath the cottage. There is a double bed, kitchenette and wc with shower. This is a great option for couples or can be rented together with the cottage so that familes that need extra accommodation can be close.
The position is great for those who wish to have the sea close at hand and to stroll along a beach outside your door. It's closeness to Steni Vala with tavernas and shopping makes it perfect for those wanting convenience without having to get in the car.
When booking Glyfa Beach Studio you will be given the option to book arrival transfers between Alonissos and Skiathos Airport. A mandatory escorted transfer to the property applies for arrivals on Alonissos from 19.00 onwards which is payable locally
The fact that there is no airport on Alonissos can only enhance your holiday as it means that none of the big package holiday companies go there.
To get to Alonissos you fly to Skiathos from either Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Gatwick, Manchester or Newcastle with most flights departing on Fridays. From Skiathos you take the Flying Dolphin which takes 75 minutes to reach Alonissos.
