Villa Caldera is approximately 1km from the beach and village of Batsi and 10km from Ateni beach on the east side of the island. The villa enjoys views of the sea and mountains and is set in beautiful, unspoilt Andros countryside.
This fine Andros house provides flexible accommodation for up to 9 guests across three floors and is arranged as two self-contained units. The ground and first floor form the main villa and sleeps four, while the lower ground floor is a one-bedroom mezzanine apartment that sleeps up to five guests.
The main villa has a very comfortable first floor living and dining area leading out to a large balcony with a fabulous view of the blue Aegean sea. The open plan kitchen is fully-equipped and includes a breakfast bar. The bedrooms and full bathroom in Villa Caldera are on the middle floor ensuring they remain cooler in the summer months. This floor leads out to the well-furnished outdoor living areas with barbecue, ample sun terraces and well maintained gardens.
Villa Caldera apartment is on the lower level and consists of a large living and kitchen area with double sofa bed, a double bedroom, a small mezzanine room with single bed and a shower room.
This well-designed layout ensures Villa Caldera is a comfortable option for couples or small families, but extends to offer plenty of space for extended families or two families travelling together. Competitively priced based on the number of guests, Villa Caldera is a good value villa for small parties and a very economical, flexible option for larger groups.

The resort of Batsi, Andros sits in a large bay with a golden sand beach lapped by crystal clear aquamarine waters. The picturesque town climbs haphazardly up from the little fishing harbour and is an attractive jumble of whitewashed houses with red roofs and mazy back streets with shady little squares.
About a three minute drive beyond Batsi is Aghios Marina, which is a beautiful rural area with a choice of lovely sandy beaches and excellent beach side tavernas that specialise in fresh fish dishes. Everything here is low key and provides an ideal environment for relaxing and recharging your batteries. If you are feeling more energetic there is excellent walking in the pine and herb scented countryside that forms the back drop to the quiet beaches that fringe the Andros coastline.
We have chosen villas and apartments specifically in this location as they offer a wonderful combination of quieter, more relaxing settings, while having Batsi's many excellent restaurants, cafes and bars close by for enjoyable, authentic Greek evenings.
The absence of an airport on Andros has helped ensure the island retains much of its original charm. Andros is reached via a flight to Athens and then a ferry crossing (max. 2 hours) from the port of Rafina.
