Property details

These great studios share a large pool with fantastic sea views over Kalami Bay and are just a short walk from the beach, tavernas and shops.

Please note that all studios have full sea views, there are 3 studios on the 1st floor and 3 studios on the 2nd floor...

Beautiful Kalami Bay with its lovely beach is one of the prettiest spots on Corfu and is always popular with couples. There are no nightclubs or music bars but a good selection of tavernas and a quiet village atmosphere.

The location of Kalami Bay Studios cannot be bettered; located in elevated private grounds with fabulous sea views, all the facilities of Kalami are within a few hundred metres.

Kalami Bay is a small scale development of six studios and six apartments set on two floors - raised ground and first floor levels with both offering a degree of privacy from the pool terrace. The studios are bright and spacious and offer air-conditioning. The standard of accommodation is high with modern bathrooms and well-equipped kitchens that include a three ring hob and small oven as well as a dining suite for two people. There are comfortable twin beds, a roomy wardrobe and dressing table. French windows lead out onto the private balcony with superb sea views.

A new, large swimming pool (18m long) was completed last winter and has extensive sun terraces furnished with loungers and umbrellas as well as a children's pool (3.5m x 4m, 0.45m depth).

For larger parties or families one or more studios can be booked together with Kalami Bay Apartments.

Location

Kalami Bay, Corfu

Beautiful Kalami Bay is renowned as the place where Lawrence Durrell wrote 'Prospero's Cell' in the 1930's. The book brought Corfu to the attention of the English and so began their love affair with the island and their friendship with its people.

Yet, despite its fame, this delightful village retains a traditional and peaceful atmosphere and is geared very much towards anyone hoping for a quieter, family holiday.

Why Holiday in Corfu?

Corfu is one of the more popular Greek holiday islands and is well served by charter and budget airlines. This beautiful, lush green Greek island comes as an unexpected and unforgettable surprise for first time visitors. Avoiding the busier south, Perfect Blue offer hand-picked properties among the picture postcard fishing harbours of the north-east and sandy bays on the west coast.

Of particular note is Kalami, a small and "un-touristy" resort with plenty of tavernas, small shops and charm. Slightly further up the coast is the swish bay of Agios Stephanos, where boats pull up to the sea-front tavernas and you can swim from the beaches into the sheltered waters.

How To Get There

Flights to Corfu are available from the following UK airports:

Belfast, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Doncaster, East Midlands, Exeter, Gatwick, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Luton, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich, Stansted, Teeside.

The majority of flights depart on Mondays and Fridays. Daily flights to Corfu are available from Athens Airport.

Perfect Blue Holidays offer a full travel service including flights, car hire and private taxi transfers as well as apartments, hotels and villas on an accommodation-only basis.

This is our third time here - and we don't normally do repeats! The studios are bright and comfortable and owner Panos and his team keep them spotlessly clean. The swimming pool is excellent and the views and local scenery are gorgeous. (May 2010)
Our studio was clean and private with no intrusion by the owner or yourselves. We were just left to enjoy our holiday. (May 2010)
We loved the location, the pools and the views from our studio.

The holiday we had at Kalami Bay Studios was all I could ask for. I particularly liked the fact everything was so close, but it was still so private. (September 2009)
Our studio was in a great spot, just a short stroll to the beach, with fantastic views. (September 2009)

The location was amazing. (September 2009)
A great location for a relaxing holiday. I would recommend Kalami Bay to anyone looking for a quiet, get-away-from-it-all holiday - although it is not to far away to visit other areas such as Kassopi by bus or taxi. (September 2009)

Customer Service

Thomas's Taverna is excellent. Try the boat trip to Corfu town in the non-glass bottomed boat The Greek night in Nikolas Taverna in next bay. (August 2010)
Don't tell too many people about it, keep it a secret! (July 2010)
Have already recomended to all friends and family via facebook. (June 2010)
Local tavernas are all good but especially the White House & Thomas's. Do book greek night (Thursdays) at Nicolas's in Agni - it's a great night and very good value for money at 25 euro's per person. Also worth a trip to Agni Taverni by speedboat which can be booked at sunshine travel. We would also recommend evening boat trip to Corfu town again booked at Sunshine travel for 19 euro's per person (June 2010)
I'm planning to go back in August! (June 2010)
Rachel v helpful and lovely by the way (June 2010)
Try walking some of the local coastal paths - beautiful views and a handy taverna every couple of kilometers! Also, we took boats rather than buses when we wanted to get about - usually quicker and again, great views. (May 2010)
Hire a small boat from one of the many rental places and enjoy the coastline. (May 2010)
