Villa Athena sits gracefully on the hillside overlooking the bay of Kassiopi and boasting breathtaking sea views.
This palatial villa is set in lawned gardens and a private gated pathway leads down to a small cove directly beneath the villa. Exceptionally spacious and comfortable,
The villa also offers a large swimming pool, although we feel the urge to call it a lake due to its impressive shape and size. This is fully gated for extra safety.
A shaded dining area is close to the barbecue and there are numerous terraces and balconies from which to enjoy the surroundings and the views.
At garden level there are 2 twin bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms. There is a well equipped auxiliary kitchen with dishwasher and a laundry room. This area also accommodates a games room with billiard table and card table as well as audio/visual equipment and internet connection.
On the raised ground floor there are 3 luxury furnished bedrooms (1 double and 2 twin bedrooms) each with en suite bathrooms and all leading to balconies. The living/dining room with a fireplace leads to a large sea view balcony with steps leading down to the beautiful gardens. A fully equipped kitchen can be found on the ground floor with all modern conveniences.
The first floor hosts the Master Suite with a beautiful double bedroom and fireplace. The luxury bathroom has hydro-massage and a large partly shaded balcony.
With all the charm of a former fishing village, this harbour resort is a hive of activity. Fishermen often unload their catch early in the mornings and a fine array of boats can be watched coming into and out of the harbour. From here you can easily walk to several small pebble beaches. A good choice of café bars, restaurants, shops, bakeries and a nightclub nestle side by side throughout the village. There's also a little taste of history, with the ruins of a fortress to stroll around as well as a beautiful church located close to the harbour.
