Stone Village Apartments is a small complex of 17 apartments located in the traditional fishing village of Bali.
Due to their stone construction, these charming 1 bedroom apartments are full of character, really helping you to relax and enjoy your holiday in Crete. All of the apartments have access to a communal lounge, snack bar, swimming pool, sun terrace and barbeque area. For your added enjoyment there is also an onsite tavern, serving fantastic traditional Greek cuisine.
Each of the well equipped one bedroom apartments has its own private entrance, welcoming lounge with a television and fireplace, a well equipped modern kitchenette, a master bedroom consisting of either a twin or double bed and a good sized bathroom.

Bali is a gorgeous small village, located 38 km east of Rethymnon and 51 km west of Heraklion. It is set around a series of small coves and it is easily accessed from the main road.
The name Bali has nothing to do with the tropical place in Indonesia except the unique beauty of both places. Bali means 'honey' in Turkish, since excellent honey was produced and collected here.
Bali village is developed on the cliffs surrounding an excellent sandy and pebble beach in the centre of the village. More beaches with crystal and clean waters are dispersed on the coves near the village. Diving, sailing, canoe, and water-sports are possible and worth trying.
Visitors can find excellent seafood restaurants as well as a few tavernas and cafes in the centre of the village. Near Bali it is located the Monastery of Agios (Saint) Ioannis with lovely frescoes in the church of the Monastery and a serene garden in the courtyard.

Direct flights are also available to Crete from Dublin.
Chania Airport (Crete) - there are flights departing from Birmingham, Gatwick, Manchester and Newcastle on Tuesdays.
Daily flights to Crete are available from Athens Airport.

The palace of Knossos is a must see attraction of Crete, unfortunately in high season it can also be hot and crowded. So be sure to take a bottle of water in with you. The informative signs are good, however an informative guide really can make the resort come alive.
