Plakias is a wonderful resort on Crete, offering a lovely blend of authentic style and a fabulous sandy beach.
These attached villas are beautifully presented and decorated to a good standard. Built on three levels, the main living area is on the middle. A fully equipped kitchen and open plan living area offers a comfortable living space.
The upper level is reached by internal stairs and features a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. They both share a modern bathroom.
There is also a third bedroom in the self contained studio on the lower level. This is reached by external stairs and can sleep two people.
Each villa has a private plunge pool and the nearby beach at Plakias is a short stroll away.
The area is suited to those looking for a relaxing holiday in a traditional location with local amenities within easy reach.

Direct flights are also available to Crete from Dublin.
Chania Airport (Crete) - there are flights departing from Birmingham, Gatwick, Manchester and Newcastle on Tuesdays.
Daily flights to Crete are available from Athens Airport.

The palace of Knossos is a must see attraction of Crete, unfortunately in high season it can also be hot and crowded. So be sure to take a bottle of water in with you. The informative signs are good, however an informative guide really can make the resort come alive.
