Villa Elia is a delightful stone built villa completed in 2006. It offer plenty of character and comfortable accommodation for 8 guests. The villa offers a private pool, first floor and pool-side terraces and plenty of amenities within a very short walk.
The entrance leads to a large open-plan living room with a fireplace and lounge area that extends through an archway to a kitchen/dining room area. A dining table comfortably seats six to eight, while the fully-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and washing machine.
A twin bedroom and one of the double bedrooms are located on the ground floor and share a bathroom. There are a further two rooms on the second floor, a double bedroom and a second room with a comfortable sofa bed that can be used as a second living room or as a fourth bedroom for groups of 7 or 8. There is a second bathroom on the first floor as well as a large terrace overlooking the pool.
The garden features a good-sized swimming pool (7.5m x 4m, depth 1.5m), sun-loungers and a barbecue complete this well designed villa.
To this day Atsipopoulo remains one of the most beautiful locations on Crete, retaining important architectural landmarks from centuries past.
The town also serves the local community with plenty of shops and amenities making it an attractive location for Perfect Blue customers keen to avoid using a hire car every day. The small town offers two supermarkets, a cash dispenser, a bakery and a pastry shop, tavernas, restaurants and an internet cafe - all within a short walk of Villas Elia & Myrtia.
Important features throughout Atsipopoulo have been respected and preserved from Venetian times with many properties bearing dates from the 17th and 18th centuries. The town was home to a number of important Cretan writers and is documented in many historical texts.

Chania Airport (Crete) - there are flights departing from Birmingham, Gatwick, Manchester and Newcastle on Tuesdays.
Daily flights to Crete are available from Athens Airport.

The palace of Knossos is a must see attraction of Crete, unfortunately in high season it can also be hot and crowded. So be sure to take a bottle of water in with you. The informative signs are good, however an informative guide really can make the resort come alive.
