Peristerona is a picturesque hillside village, with a small grocery store, coffee shop and a church with the Byzantine Museum of Arsinoe, which can be reached within just a couple of minutes drive of the villa. The town of Polis, with its pedestrian square has a wide selection of restaurants, tavernas and cafes and is approximately a 10 minute drive away. The larger town of Paphos is approximately a 50 minute drive from here.
This spacious and traditional stone villa is decorated throughout in shades of cream, caramel and bronze giving this Cyprus villa for rent a warm and inviting feel.
The kitchen well equipped and comes complete with microwave and dishwasher and there is a utility room which houses the washing machine and fridge/freezer.
The villa has not one but two lounge areas, the first area is centred around a wood burning fireplace and has comfortable sofas for relaxing. The second lounge area has satellite TV, DVD player, internet connection (please bring your own computer) and CD player.
On this ground floor, is the first of the bedrooms, a pretty double which has doors opening onto the pool terrace. There is a separate full bathroom for this bedroom on this level also.
The curving staircase leads to the first floor where two further double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms are located. The first double bedroom features a four poster bed and has its own en-suite bathroom. The remaining double bedroom features an en-suite bathroom complete with Jacuzzi bath. The two twin bedrooms each have an en-suite shower room and one has a private balcony overlooking the pool.
The other twin bedroom shares a large balcony with one of the double bedrooms and the balcony spans the entire length of the villa and enjoys beautiful views over the rolling countryside.
Outside, the large 12 metre pool is surrounded by an extensive sunbathing terrace equipped with sun beds, umbrellas, a poolside shower and a portable barbecue. A large wooden pergola provides the perfect spot to escape from the hot midday sun or for shaded al-fresco dining whilst admiring the fabulous countryside views which extend across to the bay.

Pafos Bird Park truly is magical place to visit. Paphos Bird Park was initially created in order to educate the local communities about the world around them and how to care birds and animals. The Park houses snakes, iguanas, crocodiles, any kind of birds such as parrots, ducjs, swans, geese, owls and ostriches. The continuous upgrading ensures the Parks reputation is maintained, and encourages visitors to return again and again.
Inside the park there is an Amphitheatre where educational talks are held and programs shown on various species found within the park, a handicraft shop, where visitors can witness the making of traditional rugs, a souvenir shop and a traditional Cypriot tavern which enjoys panoramic views over the surrounding area.
The Tomb of the Kings are an early necropolis in Paphos dating from 300BC. The burial niches were looted of all artifacts long ago, but a powerful sense of stillness and mystery remains.
