This villa has been carefully refurbished to retain typical Skopelos styles, such as the traditional bright green shutters that offset the stone villa walls. The design ensures that rooms the swimming pool and its surrounding terraces are accessible from the rooms, so you can take full advantage of the outdoor Greek summer lifestyle.
At just 800m from Skopelos Town, guests can walk to a good selection of tavernas and bars without the need to drive. This walk is uphill (although not steep) for the last 150m, but otherwise on the flat.
The villa has a light and airy feel throughout with windows on both sides to allow cool sea breezes to flow through the villa. The open-plan living area has an exposed wooden ceiling and two sets of double French doors leading out to the terrace. You will find the kitchen fully-equipped, including an oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave. There is a breakfast table here as well as a large dining table outdoors.
Villa Eleonas has three air-conditioned bedrooms in the main house, each one has a double iron bed and large wardrobe. They have ensuite bathrooms and french doors leading onto the pool terraces. There is a completely separate air-conditioned annex, serving as a fourth bedroom, to the side and above the main house. Sharing the same lovely views, this very large bedroom has a traditional wooden open-beamed ceiling, a double bed, a single bed and a spacious ensuite shower room with WC.
Much of your stay at Villa Eleonas will be spent outside around the lovely pool. The terrace is equipped with a large dining table, umbrella and four sun beds in which to relax and soak up the warm Greek sunshine. Another wonderful feature of this villa is the huge roof terrace. This has a second dining table, with cushioned bench seating, and offers splendid, uninterrupted views across Skopelos Town and the bustling harbour.

The town is a designated preservation area, with attractive white houses cascading in layers down the hillside from the ruins of the Venetian castle above to the lively harbour below.
Along its bustling waterfront, exclusive restaurants, cosmopolitan shops, excellent bars and tavernas shelter under the magnificent mulberry and plane trees. In the maze of cobblestoned streets behind, there are over 125 chapels hidden amongst the pretty whitewashed cottages with their brightly painted doors and shutters.
The crowning glory of Skopelos Town is the 13th century Venetian kastro - although you have to climb the steep and narrow streets of the town to reach this wonderful ruin, the sight of the nearby cafe (whose owner is an excellent bazouki player) is often as welcome as the spellbinding views.
The fact that there is no airport on Skopelos can only enhance your holiday as it means that none of the big package holiday companies go there.
To get to Skopelos you fly to Skiathos from either Birmingham, East Midlands, Gatwick, Manchester or Newcastle with most flights departing on Fridays. From Skiathos you take the Flying Dolphin which takes approx. 1 hour to reach Skopelos.
You will be met at Skiathos Airport where a taxi will be waiting to take you to the port for the next available hydrofoil or ferry. Another representative awaits your arrival on Skopelos.
Skopelos can also be reached by ferry from Agios Konstantinos on the mainland.
