This lovely pool villa is situated on the hill above Stafylos beach, approx. 4km from Skopelos town. It enjoys one of the best positions around since it has uninterrupted views to the sea and is within walking distance to the beach. A spacious outdoor dining area is perfect for dining al-fresco.
The cool, clean interior of Villa Vigla opens into a spacious open plan living room with a traditional fireplace. There is a seating area with sofa and television in one corner and a breakfast table. This light and airy room has French doors opening out on to the terrace that runs the length of the house. From here, the views are breathtaking of stark blue sea, sky and the green of pine and olive covered hills.
The fully equipped kitchen can be accessed both from the living room and from a small hallway and has French doors leading to a side terrace. There are two twin rooms and one double room. From the hallway, the w/c with 1/2 bathtub is accessed and includes a washing machine.
The kidney shape fresh water pool is found next to the patio and has spacious terraces for sunbathing. With the luxury of your own private pool you can take full advantage of the surrounding scenery and enjoy the sense of quiet only the countryside can offer.
A small foot path which begins at the villa links up with the main road down to the beach. The walk to Stafilos beach is approximately 7 minutes. In the vicinity, there are two restaurants and a small mini market for essentials.
Villa Vigla is a great choice for larger families and parties. The position of this property is ideal for parties that want to be within walking distance to beaches and tavernas. Families with young children or those with walking difficulties might find the uphill walking back from the beach challenging.

Alternatively you may drive to the beach in approximately 3-4 minutes. Car hire is not essential since the bus stop is a 10minute walk from the villa and the bus service is fairly regular. In the vicinity, there are two restaurants and a small mini market for essentials.
The fact that there is no airport on Skopelos can only enhance your holiday as it means that none of the big package holiday companies go there.
To get to Skopelos you fly to Skiathos from either Birmingham, East Midlands, Gatwick, Manchester or Newcastle with most flights departing on Fridays. From Skiathos you take the Flying Dolphin which takes approx. 1 hour to reach Skopelos.
You will be met at Skiathos Airport where a taxi will be waiting to take you to the port for the next available hydrofoil or ferry. Another representative awaits your arrival on Skopelos.
Skopelos can also be reached by ferry from Agios Konstantinos on the mainland.
