These apartments are set in lovely grounds, which have a communal barbecue area and swimming pool, with fantastic views out to sea. Steps from the gardens lead down to the beach and harbour, which are only 50 metres away and can also be reached by road.
The surrounding area, Bouka, is a sleepy fishing harbour with some excellent local tavernas and restaurants. However, if you're looking for livelier spots it is only a short drive to Tsilivi. This bustling family resort has a good range of shops, restaurants and bars to explore. For a wider choice of beaches and tavernas and to explore the rest of island we do recommend a hire car.
We love the layout of the gallery apartments. Situated on the first floor, these one-bedroom apartments have an air-conditioned double bedroom. The mezzanine level offers two single beds. A fun sleeping solution for kids. The open-plan living room is comfortably furnished and has a fully-equipped kitchenette. There is also a bathroom with a shower, basin and WC. Externally, there are two balconies, one of which overlooks the sea.

This sleepy little fishing harbour provides an unbeatable mix of the peace and tranquillity of Bouka itself combined with its accessibility to busier and more lively resorts and all the facilities they offer. It is less than a five minute drive (or a twenty minute walk along the beach) from the bustling family resort of Tsilivi with its comprehensive range of shops, restaurants and bars and only fifteen minutes from the capital of the island, Zakynthos Town, with its lovely port and squares.
It has its own beach, complete with a small beach bar that serves snacks and drinks during the day, and is flanked by larger beaches that, while being that bit busier, offer a comprehensive choice of watersports and tavernas. These include the highly recommended Vineyard, which is considered to be one of the best fish tavernas on the island with unbelievably welcoming hospitality and food to match.
Bouka provides you with a delightful holiday setting in which to relax and unwind. Secluded and unhurried without being isolated, this is an altogether enchanting spot full of character and charm.
Hot summers and warm evenings are assured on this southernmost Ionian Island. Visitors will find established resorts with plenty of amenities and activities to keep the children busy.

Enjoy the calm turquoise waters that lap golden beaches along the South coast or explore the more rugged Northern corners of the island. Shipwreck Bay (Navagio Beach) and the Blue Caves are certainly worth seeing.

The majority of Zante flights depart on Sundays and Thursdays. There are no flights from the UK available on Saturdays, when direct flight instead run from Cork and Dublin. Daily flights to Zante are available from Athens Airport.

No family holiday to Zakynthos would be complete without a trip to a waterpark. We can confirm that these are great fun for all the family, including slides, pools, rafting or just lazing by the waterside.
Zante is known as the most important nesting ground for the endangered species of loggerhead sea-turtles, the Caretta-Caretta, and a national marine park had been created to protect and preserve these creatures. During the summer months, holidaymakers can visit Kalamaki or Laganags and take a glass-bottomed boat trip to view the turtles in their natural habitat and even swim with them.
