Each apartment here benefits from the panoramic views, across the crystal clear waters of the Ionian sea to the mainland and round to Zante town. A beachfront hotel, Kamara Apartments has excellent facilities including an inviting swimming pool with separate children's pool, located on the edge of the sea.
Around the poolside, you may relax on one of the many shaded sun-loungers, and take advantage of the pool bar which serves drinks and snacks all day. Parents can sit back whilst children entertain themselves in the playground beside the terrace.
Additionally, the hotel is easily accessible: there is one lift, and the reception and pool areas have ramps which are both wheelchair and pushchair friendly.
The modern air-conditioned apartments have a well-equipped kitchen and dining area for four people, with facilities including a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster and hob. There is one bathroom (with both bath and shower), and two bedrooms: one has a large double bed and one has two single beds, with enough room for a third child's single bed.

Kamara Beach Aparthotel located in one of the most beautiful parts of the island. It stands on the beach front at Kamara which has breathtaking views over the Ionian sea. The resort is 100m away but shops and restaurants can be found within 50m.
Argassi is one of the most popular tourist areas of the island of Zakynthos and has the fantastic Mount Skopos as a backdrop. It is within very close proximity of Zakynthos Town, which can be reached by foot (3km). It runs over 1km along the coastal road. The beach is narrow with sand and shingle and runs the full length of the resort, so you are never far from the sea. It has a large variety of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and shops making it appealing to people of all ages especially for parents. The main centre is compact, giving it a lively atmosphere, while the outside of the town centre tends to be much quieter and relaxing.
Hot summers and warm evenings are assured on this southernmost Ionian Island. Visitors will find established resorts with plenty of amenities and activities to keep the children busy.

The majority of Zante flights depart on Sundays and Thursdays. There are no flights from the UK available on Saturdays, when direct flight instead run from Cork and Dublin. Daily flights to Zante are available from Athens Airport.

Zante is known as the most important nesting ground for the endangered species of loggerhead sea-turtles, the Caretta-Caretta, and a national marine park had been created to protect and preserve these creatures. During the summer months, holidaymakers can visit Kalamaki or Laganags and take a glass-bottomed boat trip to view the turtles in their natural habitat and even swim with them.
