This small courtyard of attached villas offers good quality accommodation in the lovely resort of Kalamaki. The villas are quietly located amongst olive groves and pine woods but are only a five minute walk from tavernas and a 15 minute walk into the heart of the resort. The shimmering blue waters and soft sands of Kalamaki's famous Crystal Beach make this a popular resort for families.
Kalamaki Villas are fully, air-conditioned holiday homes, set within secure gated grounds and furnished to a very good standard. The living area on the ground floor is comfortably furnished, with a double sofa bed which easily sleeps two children (who go free!). The area opens onto a large veranda that overlooks the pools and gardens.
Internally there is a well-equipped kitchen complete with a dining table and chairs and there is a cloakroom with WC. On the first floor there is one double and one twin bedroom. The smart main bathroom with shower is also on this floor. Glass doors lead onto a large balcony overlooking the pool and gardens below.

Kalamaki is a quiet resort with a calming traditional charm. The resort's main attraction is undoubtedly its long sandy beach where the rare Loggerhead turtle nests. The beaches are uncrowded and the resort is backed by mountains and extensive olive groves, making this resort perfect for those wanting a relaxing holiday, including families, couples and older holidaymakers. Kalamaki offers a good choice of restaurants and bars, and for those wanting busier nightlife it is only a short taxi ride into nearby Laganas.

The majority of Zante flights depart on Sundays and Thursdays. There are no flights from the UK available on Saturdays, when direct flight instead run from Cork and Dublin. Daily flights to Zante are available from Athens Airport.

Zante is known as the most important nesting ground for the endangered species of loggerhead sea-turtles, the Caretta-Caretta, and a national marine park had been created to protect and preserve these creatures. During the summer months, holidaymakers can visit Kalamaki or Laganags and take a glass-bottomed boat trip to view the turtles in their natural habitat and even swim with them.
