Situated in a very panoramic, peaceful, relaxing environment and surrounded by rich vegetation of typical Mediterranean plants, flowers, fruit and olive trees, Villa Ruoppo is an 18th Century stone farm building wonderfully restored into 4 apartments all with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Salerno and its isles.

Sant' Agata sui Due Golfi is located just 1.5km from the apartment.
One of the pearls in the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno facing Capri. Perched on a hill Sant' Agata offers a series of views over the sea and the two bays. Etruscans, Greeks and Romans were enchanted by the beauties for centuries. During the "Grand Tour" this place was one of the most favorite stops. Today Sant'Agata sui due Golfi is a very popular summer resort and an excellent centre for many excursions. Nowadays it's famous for its parish church, the monastery of Deserto, its natural beauties, archeological ruins, the Don Alfonso restaurant and several trails along the coast and inland.
The Amalfi coast is 7km from the apartments, Sorrento is 10km away and Naples (airport) is 55km.
The Amalfi Coast is a stunning and well known stretch of mountainous coastline south of Naples, in Campania. The southern end of the Bay of Naples stretches out in a steep and rocky peninsula that reaches towards the Isle of Capri. Sorrento, another major tourist destination, looks back towards Naples from the north coast of the peninsula. The southern side of the peninsula is dotted with picturesque villages and towns clinging giddily to cliffs; this is what is known as the Amalfi Coast.
Sorrento is situated on a plain above the sea, overlooking the Bay of Naples. The view from Sorrento stretches back to the north, encompassing Vesuvius, the city of Naples, and the island of Ischia. The town is exceedingly popular with tourists. It has a pretty old town, a harbour with ferry departures to Capri, Amalfi and Naples, and is within easy reach of the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Herculaneum and the city of Naples. There is some good walking in the peninsula, and plenty of restaurants and bars for the less energetic.
The region is served by direct flights to Naples or Rome.

The two airports in Rome are the Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) and Ciampino.

Ciampino: you can fly direct from Bristol, East Midlands, Newcastle and Gatwick with Easyjet, and from Glasgow, Liverpool, East Midlands, Luton, Stansted and Dublin with Ryanair

Vetara is the largest of the four apartments with entrance through approx. 12 steps from car parking area into large furnished, shaded terrace (ideal for al fresco dining ) with beautiful sea views. This apartment was refurbished in 2004 and is tastefully furnished. Entrance from terrace into lounge / dining room with separate & well divided and equipped kitchen area. Double bedroom with 2 foot balconies and sea views, twin bedroom with foot balcony & sea view, shower room with WC etc plus a washing machine and TV.

Access to Li Gali apartment is up a semi-circular stone stairway (approx. 20 steps) and private large furnished terrace with views over the sea and small villages down the hillside. Below it, there is an apartment occasionally used by owners on weekends. Entrance from terrace into lounge/dining room with well equipped kitchen unit, single divan bed. Double bedroom with French balcony and extensive views of the sea and green hills. The bathroom contains a shower, WC, TV and washing machine.

Licosa is on the mezzanine floor of the villa, and has access through 15 steps down from car park area, with its own designed furnished garden area just outside. Entrance into lounge / dining room with kitchen corner, single bedroom with window onto garden, double bedroom with foot balcony and sea views, shower room with WC etc.. This apartment was also refurbished in 2004 and is tastefully furnished and equiped with a TV.

Vigneto is a ground floor one-room apartment in the outbuliding. The living accomodation conists of: dining area, small cooking area (2 burners, fridge 140lt) and double bed, bathroom with shower and washing machine. Outside the apartment is a small furnished garden.
