Entering on the ground floor, you find a kitchen complete with fridge/ freezer, oven and microwave. One double bedroom is downstairs, along with a bathroom and there is access to the garden. Upstairs is the second double room with private bathroom and shower with access to a panoramic terrace.
Outside, there is a private garden with table and chairs, plus a barbecue. The equipped outdoor area is ideal for dining.
Monticchio, which has a variety of shops, is 300m, Massa Lubrense with shops, restaurant, bus stop, post office, bank is 3km, Sorrento (with train station and port with boats to Naples, Capri and Ischia) 6km, nearest beach is Marina del Cantone (pebbly) with private bathrooms (during the month of August we recommend a subscription for chairs, sun-beds and umbrellas) 8km, Positano 21km, Amalfi, 37km and Naples 60km.
The Amalfi Coast is a stunning and well known stretch of mountainous coastline south of Naples, in Campania. The southern end of the Bay of Naples stretches out in a steep and rocky peninsula that reaches towards the Isle of Capri. Sorrento, another major tourist destination, looks back towards Naples from the north coast of the peninsula. The southern side of the peninsula is dotted with picturesque villages and towns clinging giddily to cliffs; this is what is known as the Amalfi Coast.
Sorrento is situated on a plain above the sea, overlooking the Bay of Naples. The view from Sorrento stretches back to the north, encompassing Vesuvius, the city of Naples, and the island of Ischia. The town is exceedingly popular with tourists. It has a pretty old town, a harbour with ferry departures to Capri, Amalfi and Naples, and is within easy reach of the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Herculaneum and the city of Naples. There is some good walking in the peninsula, and plenty of restaurants and bars for the less energetic.
The region is served by direct flights to Naples or Rome.

There are several airports flying direct from the UK to Naples and Rome.

The two airports in Rome are the Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) and Ciampino.
