Romiri is a tranquil hamlet set in a beautiful countryside at the foot of Zante's dramatic central mountain chain. The surrounding hills and countryside are covered with olive groves and pine forests.
Although Romiri is a peaceful location in which to have your holiday, you will definitely not feel to isolated as it is within a few minutes drive to the nearest shops and tavernas at Lithakia (where incidentally we can highly recommend the oven roated lamb at Denis's taverna!). A couple of minutes drive towards the coast through Lithakia will then bring you to the fishing harbour and sandy beaches at Agios Sostis and Porta Koukla.
The Keri peninsular, which to many is the most beautiful part of the island, is also easily accessible from this part of the island as are the culture and facilities of Zakynthos Town which is a 15-minute drive away, so all in all this really is a great location for a relaxing holiday - but with the convenience of easy access to everything you could possibly need!
